FacebookGreat White Shark Spotted off of Jacksonville!
I didn't see this with my own eyes but the story is from a friend of a friend so I believe it to be true. Supposedly these guys were fishing somewhere near the BR area out of Mayport and had this great white buzz around the boat for quite a while. It was estimated at 13ft long. I guess these guys pass through every year while the Right Whales come through the area.

It appears that the reported sighting has not been confirmed or disproved. Could be speculation only at this point based upon the California incident on April 30.
