Jacksonville Diving Conditions - July 27, 2008

Well again I haven't dove so this is 2nd hand. The only report I have seem came from the RL area (70-80ft) visibility was supposedly around 40ft and the thermocline has dissipated for the most part.

The divers did report an unusual amount of shark sightings. Supposedly bull sharks, sandbar sharks and one diver had a tiger take a fish from his stringer. This is unusual for up in these waters! Keep your eyes peeled everyone!

Jelly fish are gone and the ocean is starting to clear up from the storms. Went down 80 ft to some barges at nine mile reef and saw huge schools of aber jacks that we speard. Lots of spade fish and mangro snapper, some grouper but not many. Alot of baracuda watching you every move they wouldnt move for nothing. also saw lion fish which was very rare seeing they are from indian ocean. no lobster sightings yet.
