Jacksonville Diving and Visibility Report June 28, 2008

Dove in around 90 feet of water near the CH area yesterday. The thermocline is definitely there with cool water on the bottom and 10ft of visibility at best. The jelly fish were extermely thick at the surface as well.

The good news is the flounder are all over the bottom in the area. The live bottom and ledges for best results.

Also had an aggressive bull shark circle me for a few minutes before I gave up and surfaced. This was the first time seeing a bull shark diving off of Jacksonville.

6-21-08 jacksonville diving report and conditions

Dove AH, HH, BB and RL. Visibility was abour 20-35 ft in all locations. Jellyfish were thick and everywhere! Didn't see any fish really at BB. Found some decent fish at HH and AH though. Check out a couple of underwater videos I took at HH:

Jacksonville Dive Report - 6-19-08

Got a report of some good visibility with plenty of grouper, snapper and cobia from around 100ft of water out of Mayport.

Great Visibility off of Jacksonville and St. Augustine

Reports of visibility in excess of 70ft have been coming in from the party grounds off of Jacksonville and St Augustine. Get out and enjoy it!

Jacksonville Visibility

Visibility off of Jacksonville continue to be good. Reports are coming in with 30-50ft of vis from the party grounds with some nice grouper coming from the north off of Fernandina.
